What we will ask for when you open an account
Banks are required to know their customers. Having these documents ready will make onboarding faster.
| Document | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Certificate of incorporation and articles of association | To confirm the company exists and who may act for it |
| Register of shareholders and ultimate beneficial owners | Anti-money-laundering rules require us to know who owns and controls the company |
| ID for directors and beneficial owners | To verify every person with control over the account |
| Description of the business and expected transactions | So we understand your activity, markets and payment flows |
| Recent financial statements, where available | To assess the company’s financial position, especially for trade finance |

No. Until we are authorised we cannot issue letters of credit, guarantees or any other banking product. Anyone offering them in our name is not acting for us.
Which companies will you serve?
At launch, companies registered in the European Economic Area. Other jurisdictions will be considered case by case, under our risk policy.
Can we talk about a partnership?
Yes. If you are a potential technology, payments or correspondent-banking partner, please get in touch through the contact page.
